John Campbell

John Campbell combines a robust military background with over two decades of legal experience. Campbell is a former Marine Corps artillery officer and served as Defense Counsel in the U.S. Army JAG Corps defending soldiers in Iraq. Since leaving service, he has focused on civil and criminal litigation. His clients range from individuals to businesses and insurance companies, including cases in insurance bad faith, contract disputes, professional liability, and employment torts. His litigation experience extends to state and federal courts and Oklahoma’s appellate courts, where he has successfully resolved hundreds of cases through dismissals and summary judgments. Known for his skill in courtroom advocacy, Campbell has taken numerous cases to jury verdict. Campbell is admitted to all state and federal district and appellate courts in Oklahoma, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the tribal courts of the Cherokee, Muscogee (Creek), and Osage Nations, with additional experience in military and family law.

John Campbell has been recognized with a Bronze Star for his distinguished service in the U.S. Army and holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer-reviewed standard for legal excellence. His academic honors include the CALI Award for Excellence in Evidence and membership in Phi Delta Phi. John’s published appellate work includes notable cases such as Stade v. Bodycote Thermal Processing, Inc. and USA v. Pablo Arturo Padilla in the 10th Circuit, reflecting his impact in both military and civil litigation.
