Stephan Mathis

Stephan Mathis brings a robust law, business, and accounting background to his practice. A Certified Public Accountant and graduate of the University of Tulsa College of Law, he began his career in auditing with Coopers & Lybrand, where he spent nearly a decade working with large corporations and financial institutions. Stephan’s legal practice centers on estate planning, construction litigation, business and commercial law, insurance, and tax controversies. He also serves as an Administrative Law Judge for the Oklahoma Insurance Department and has represented clients in state, federal, and tribal courts across Oklahoma.

Mathis was recognized as a Super Lawyer from 2011 to 2020 and holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer-reviewed honor for legal ability and ethical standards. His academic achievements include the Order of the Curule Chair and CALI Awards for Excellence in Civil Procedure and Agency and Partnership, showcasing his dedication to legal excellence from early in his career.
